HBLPSL4: Quetta Gladiators have broke the biggest news of the season

Watson is coming to Pakistan to play PSL 2019 final leg

Great news came in today from the Quetta Gladiators camp as it is speculated that their star player and the ace batsman has agreed to come to Pakistan for PSL4 matches. Shane Watson, the batting powerhouse who was initially reluctant to visit Pakistan for PSL 2019’s remaining matches will now be coming to Pakistan to play for his team Quetta.

Watson is coming to Pakistan

Quetta Gladiators’ Manager  Azam Khan said the all-rounder is ready to come to Pakistan after being convinced by franchise owner – Nadeem Omar. It wasn’t an easy task but Nadeem Omar did everything to finally make it happen as this was something the Quetta fans had been waiting for for a long time. In the past three seasons of Pakistan Super League, most of the foreign players of Quetta Gladiators refused to come to Pakistan due to which the team suffered in big matches. But looks like this time luck is on their side.

Since Watson has agreed this also means that he will be available for the team in the match against Karachi Kings.

Sports journalist, Saleem Khaliq, also confirmed the news and shared a tweet about it.

Reaction on Twitter

The news broke the internet and gathered an instant response. Fans were ecstatic to hear the news.

Some even thanked his wife for giving him permission.

Even Cricingif is excited about it!

Some people just couldn’t believe it.

Can Quetta win the trophy this time?

Watson has been a huge asset for Quetta Gladiators and he is also the highest scoring batsman of this year’s PSL so far along with being the proud owner of Hanif Mohammad cap. He is one batsman upon which the team completely relies and could not afford to lose. Watson has pulled a victory for Gladiators in the toughest situations. Quetta Gladiators is currently at the top of the points table with 14 points having won 7 out of 9 matches.

They have been the top contender for the PSL trophy since the inaugural season but each time lost by a close margin. With Watson’s presence in the qualifier stage this time we can hope that things will finally go in favor of the Gladiators.
