These are the New Zealand Cricket Awards Winners for 2019

New Zealand Cricket Board has announced winners of different awards for 2019. The New Zealand Cricket awards which are also known as ANZ NZC Awards take place every year as cricketers in New Zealand are awarded for their services to the cricket.

The awards are as follows:

  • Sir Richard Hadlee Medal for Player of the Year – Kane Williamson
  • International Test Player of the Year – Kane Williamson
  • International Women’s ODI Player of the Year – Amelia Kerr
  • International Men’s ODI Player of the Year – Ross Taylor
  • International Women’s T20 Player of the Year – Sophie Devine
  • International Men’s T20 Player of the Year – Colin Munro
  • Women’s Domestic Player of the Year – Natalie Dodd
  • Men’s Domestic Player of the Year – Devon Conway
  • Burger King Super Smash Women’s Player of the Year – Frankie Mackay
  • Burger King Super Smash Men’s Player of the Year – Tom Bruce
  • The Redpath Cup for First-Class batting – Kane Williamson
  • The Winsor Cup for First-Class bowling – Trent Boult
  • The Phyl Blackler Cup for women’s domestic bowling – Amelia Kerr
  • The Ruth Martin Cup for women’s domestic batting – Natalie Dodd
  • New Zealand Umpire of the Year – Chris Brown
  • Gillette Cup Player of the Year – Tim Campbell
  • Gillette Venus Cup Player of the Year – Amelia Kerr
  • Club of the Year – Burnside West Christchurch University Cricket Club
  • Volunteer of the Year – Malcolm Jones
  • Outstanding Contribution and Services to Coaching – Mark Bracewell
  • Outstanding Contribution to Cricket – Kevin Scanlon
  • Sir Jack Newman Award for Outstanding Services to Junior Coaching – Doug Bracewell
  • Official of the Year – Cheryl Styles
  • Best Female Engagement Strategy – Girls Smash, Otago Cricket
  • Cricket Development Officer of the Year – Rebecca Yee

The remaining awards are yet to be announced. The biggest award, Sir Richard Hadlee Medal, will be announced soon and we will keep you posted about the latest updates.

Last year, the award was bagged by the left-arm pacer, Trent Boult for his outstanding year with the bowl across formats.
