RCB: Fixtures, Tickets and History

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has been one of the most high-profile teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL), especially with the likes of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in the mix. In a tournament like IPL, it is hard to pick sides, however, looking at the batting and bowling strength of RCB, you have to admit they are a formidable unit. Over the years, the team’s performance has been quite haphazard, lacking consistency despite big names. If you are looking for the RCB fixtures, tickets, and team record, you are at the right place.

RCB’s IPL History

Before moving on to RCB tickets for IPL 2019, let’s have a quick look at the franchise’s journey in the cash-rich league over the years. The team owned by Royal Challengers Sports Private Ltd has not been living up to the hype especially in the last two seasons where they finished 8th and 6th respectively in 2017 and 2018.

The franchise’s best results came in 2009, 2011, and 2016 when Virat Kohli-led side finished runners-up. While it reads second place thrice, it could easily have been champions three times, however, the team couldn’t quite end as the fans would have hoped, crumbling under the pressure of big finals.
