IPL 2019: Jos Butler becomes father to a baby girl

 

Rajasthan Royals’ frontman and leading scorer, Jos Butler, who recently left the team due to personal commitments has become a proud father of a baby girl. Butler had shown amazing form in this year’s Indian Premier league and was scoring a lot of runs for the team.

He came into limelight during IPL when he fell victim to a mankading incident while playing against Kings XI Punjab. Captain of Kings XI, R Ashwin struck off the bails at the non-strikers end when Butler moved ahead of the line before the official delivery, this brewed a lot of controversies and a myriad of cricketers were seen supporting Butler.

Amidst all the controversies and crucial matches, Butler preferred to leave the tournament mid way to attend to his wife and accompany his family for the birth of their child, the couple got married in 2017 and had their first baby this year.

Butler’s newborn named Georgia

Recently Butler’s wife Louise shared the name of her baby along with a beautiful picture of the family on Instagram and it just melted our hearts, seeing Butler holding the adorable child in his hands. Louise used the caption ‘2 becomes 3’ to announce the arrival of Georgia!

Future endeavors for Butler

After showing remarkable form in IPL and scoring more than 300 runs in 8 games, Butler is now eyeing the World Cup. Butler’s team, England, will first play a one-off ODI with Ireland on May 3 before battling against Pakistan in a full-fledged series comprising of one T20I and five ODIs. His recent form reflects the growing potential of the batsman and reaffirms the fact that he is going to be a lethal weapon for England.

Well let’s wish the new baby brings Butler immense luck and he shines through for his team in the crunch tournament ahead in May.
