Update: In a recent turn of events, Dr. Nauman Niaz who is one of the most senior sports journalists of Pakistan has confirmed that PTV (Pakistan Television) will telecast the 4th edition of Pakistan Super League.
BREAKING NEWS: In a surprising turn of events, it has been confirmed that PTV Sports which is part of the national television network of Pakistan, will not be able to broadcast any of the live matches of PSL 4.
There was already news circulating in the media that for this upcoming season of Pakistan Super League, Geo Super which is part of Geo TV is going to be the Official broadcaster of the league instead of PTV (Pakistan Television).
PTV Sports was the Official broadcaster of the last three seasons of PSL, and it also has a huge audience as well as it is the only national Sports channel.
But now, the news has been confirmed by various news outlets as well, and PTV is no longer the broadcasting partner of PSL.
Reason for not broadcasting PSL 2019
The news in itself is already a big surprise, but the reason behind this shocking news is even more ridiculous!
According to reports, PTV was not able to submit the bid for getting the broadcasting rights of PSL on time. And because of this irresponsible behavior of PTV officials, they lost the opportunity to attain the rights.
No wonder, PSL fans are quite furious and disappointed in them for this careless act.
