Today’s Match: Quetta Gladiators vs Peshawar Zalmi
Contrary to expectations the final clash between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators turned out to be low scoring game as the Zalmis could just score 138 runs in 20 overs. Only Kamran Akmal and Umar Amin provided some resistance but the rest of the team seemed completely helpless against the pace attack by Quetta Gladiators led by Muhammad Husnain coupled with terrific performances by Sohail Tanvir and Fawad Ahmed.
The target was very easy for the Gladiators to chase and despite the early dismissal of key player, Watson, Quetta seemed fully in control of the game and finally were able to lift the trophy of HBL PSL for the first time ever. It seemed surreal but it did happen and the celebration was worth seeing!
