PSL 2019 is entering into an exciting phase, the competition is getting tough and players are putting in their everything to ensure victory for their team. Quetta Gladiators is one team which has been highly successful in the tournament so far and yesterday Quetta Gladiators’ player Mohammad Husnain made history by bowling the fastest ball of HBLPSL4.
A delivery clocked at 151 kph!
The 18 years old bowled a delivery at a speed of 151 kph against Multan Sultans yesterday. More than 15 of his deliveries touched 140 kph. He bamboozled ace batsman Shoaib Malik who was unable to respond to the teenager’s quick balls. Although Husnain could just manage to get one wicket in the match yet his performance has impressed many.
Cricket pundits regarded the player as a rare find because it is after ages that one is seeing a young bowler ball with such speed. He reminded many of the Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar.
Praise on Twitter
Many lauded Husnain for his exceptional performance, even owner of Multan Sultans, Ali Tareen could not resist appreciating the speed star.

Hope that Gladiators and Pakistan Cricket look after Mohammad Husnanin- an 18 year old speed sensation who clocked 150kph tonight. Two years of cricket nurturing and he will be ripe to take on world batting..

A star in the making
Having represented Pakistan’s Under-19 team, Husnain grew up watching the fast bowling by Mohammad Sami, the speedster from Karachi who is one of his idols.
Husnain has been an integral part of many domestic matches before PSL as well. One of his most memorable performances was when he took 31 wickets in just 6 matches of a regional inter-district U-19 tournament. The youngster has earned a lot of praise from his coaches in the domestic circle.
Quetta Gladiators have nurtured great talent in the past too, in earlier years, Quetta has advanced Hassan Khan through the positions, who was likewise the skipper of Pakistan’s U-19 group. And this year they have continued their tradition by introducing Mohammad Husnain. He is a potential star of the future and if given the right opportunities he can turn out to be a game-changer ahead of the World Cup.
We wish the youngster all the best for the future!
