Pakistan cricket team has suffered a lusty blow as leg-spinner, Shadab Khan has been ruled out of England tour due to a virus, according to PCB’s press release earlier today. He has been advised 4 weeks rest, meaning that he will not be a part of Pakistan team for the England series.
PCB tweeted the news via its official Twitter handle earlier today.

It is disappointing news for Pakistan cricket fans he is an integral part of limited over formats and he is the primary spinner for the Green Shirts at the World Cup. It remains to be seen how he regains fitness ahead of the World Cup. Yasir Shah has been announced as the replacement for the spinner.
Yasir Shah has been named as Shadab Khan’s replacement for the upcoming T20I and ODI series against England, which will be played from 5-19 May #ENGvPAK

The series against England is scheduled from 5 to 19 May and the mega event starts on 30th May. If we look at the timeframe given by PCB for his full fitness, he will most likely be fit this time of the next month, however, if he doesn’t it is a grave concern for Sarfaraz Ahmed. Yasir Shah has proved to be a not-so-good limited overs spinner and Mohammad Nawaz is an off-spinner.
In England, Pakistan desperately needs a wrist spinner and there’s no better option than Shadab Khan.
