It was yet another thriller on Monday as Delhi Capitals maintained their winning run, chasing down Rajasthan Royals’ target of 192. Ajinkya Rahane’s unbeaten ton was eclipsed by Pant’s brilliant hitting and perfectly timed knock, as DC won by 6 wickets.

Ajinkya Rahane, the former captain scored his first century of this year’s IPL, while the new captain, Steven Smith scored another half-century. Rahane ended with 1058 from 66 deliveries with 11 fours and 3 sixes, while Smith scored at a strike rate of 156.25. The team posted 191/6.

Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw added 72 in 7.3 overs, providing a brisk start while setting a platform for the likes of Rishabh Pant to finish the game. The wicket-keeper batsman scored 78* from 36, sealing the match with a six to guide his team over the line.
