Finally, the league stage at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 is over and it is time for some very exciting last few games. The 1st Qualifier, Mumbai Indians (MI) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK), presents an opportunity to book a direct ticket to the final for the winning team. The losing team will take on the winner of 2nd Qualifier for another go at the grand final’s berth.

The match promises to be a cracker as both captains look to add yet another trophy to their cabinets. The two captains are the most successful captains at the IPL and MS Dhoni will look to brush aside their two losses against Mumbai this season. A win for them would offer sweet revenge.

Team News

Chennai Super Kings are in for a shocker of news as one of the most important players, Kedar Jadhav has sustained a shoulder injury and he will not be a part of today’s playing XI. MS Dhoni is set to lead the side against Rohit Sharma XI after slight worries with his back.

Mumbai Indians have a settled XI, however, it remains to be seen whether Rohit Sharma decides to field all four overseas players or not. If they do, Ben Cutting is a useful option, however, there are already a number of all-rounders like him, including Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, and even Kieron Pollard.
