IPL 2019: Match 38 - KKR Eye Momentun After 4 Consecutive Losses

The first of today’s two matches, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) vs Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is scheduled at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. It will be a home game for SRH as both teams look to get into the top 4. Currently, the two teams are lagging in the last four.

After a destructive start to the IPL, Kolkata Knight Riders have lost all the momentum as they couldn’t manage a single win in their last four outings. The Sunrisers are entering into the game on the back of their much-needed win against Chennai Super Kings and the morale would be skyrocketing after thumping the table-toppers with ease.

Team News

After two days of rain at Hyderabad, the weather is expected to clear out today and the match will go on as scheduled. Jonny Bairstow and David Warner have only a couple of games left as they are expected to leave India soon because of their international duties and SRH would want to make the most of their last couple of games.

KKR have had some really sloppy batting as Andre Russel, the go-to batsman has called for more flexibility in the batting department. He hinted at batting at number 4 to play more freely and possibly win more matches for his side. It remains to be seen whether Dinesh Karthik promotes him up the order or not.
