IPL 2019: Match 33 - Can SRH Challenge CSK's Supremacy?

It’s just another day for Chennai Super Kings who will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad away from home as favorites, yet again. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will provide an opportunity for the hosts to get on par with Kolkata Knight Riders with 8 points, whereas a win for CSK will take them to 16 points.

The weather is superb with slight chances of rain tonight, presenting a perfect atmosphere for cricket in jam-packed Rajiv Gandhi stadium in Hyderabad. Chennai have been hard to beat this season like all those previous seasons however, SRH will be hoping for a solid performance from their players to get back on the winning track.

Team News

The last time these two teams met was in IPL 2018 final when CSK won the title, chasing down 179 as Shane Watson blasted a century. The veteran Aussie all-rounder, now primarily a batsman, has looked out of touch since the PSL 2019. He was the leading run-scorer and helped his team Quetta Gladiators win the title for the first time. It remains whether Dhoni continues with him or not.

Sunrisers Hyderabad will soon be without the services of Shakib Al Hasan as he has been called back for World Cup camp starting from April 22. It remains to be seen when he returns to Bangladesh and whether he will get a match before that or not.
