IPL 2019: Match 29 - KKR Look to Square Things Against CSK

It’s another day, another doubleheader at the Indian Premier League with the first match scheduled between the top two teams; Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the second match will be Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Capitals.

Chennai is in some great form and it will take another Andre Russel special to stop the old pros. Both the teams have played brilliant cricket over the past few weeks and today’s encounter will be nothing short of a nail-biting contest. If CSK manages to win this match, they will have 14 points, 6 more than the second-placed team.

Team News

West Indian all-rounder, DJ Bravo is yet to get fully fit, as Michael Hussey has ruled him out of today’s clash. The pace friendly nature of Eden Gardens pitch might enforce some changes in the bowling department, not just for CSK but for KKR as well.

KKR have a few worries as Andre Russel has a thigh bruise, Chris Lynn has flu and Sunil Narine wasn’t 100% in the last game. However, the high-impact nature of these players might prompt the hosts to field all three, even if they are not 100%.
