IPL 2019: Match 28 - Listless RCB Look for 1st Win This Season

Two teams from the bottom 4 – Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) – will take on each other to make their way up the table slightly. The chances of RCB making it to the playoffs are already very bleak and they would not want another loss.

It is worth mentioning that Virat Kohli is yet to win a match after donning the army caps against Australia. It was when Australia produced a remarkable turnaround to steal a 3-2 victory despite being 2-0 down. Kohli has lost 6 out of 6 matches at the IPL this year and he needs to get a victory under his belt before its too late.

Team News

Chris Gayle might have to sit out yet again due to a slight strain in his back. Mayank Agarwal is likely to replace him, however, he himself missed the last game due to a hand injury.

RCB might have to leave out Moeen Ali to fit in Heinrich Klaasen. Washington Sundar is a better local option, as it looks now, and he can perform the duties of Moeen Ali. Dale Steyn, who was drafted in as a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile, will be up for selection from April 15.
