IND vs AUS 5th ODI: The Final Showdown to happen in Delhi (Pre-Match)

India vs Australia 5th ODI

THIS IS IT! It’s the final of the 5-match IND vs AUS ODI series and it’s anybody’s game. Both the teams are level after Australia won the last two ODIs despite losing the first two and keeping themselves alive in the series.

Team News

Australia are in tremendous form and despite losing the first two ODIs, they have shone in all the departments throughout this series and there is absolutely no reason as to why they’d change their winning XI.

Meanwhile, India, on the other hand, had a worrying time with their openers not performing but that all changed in the last ODI. Bhuvi was given a rare outing but he couldn’t make the most of his opportunity. We can expect a change or two but overall, both the teams will look mostly the same come tomorrow.

Playing XI

Here is the playing XI for both the sides:

  1. R. Sharma
  2. S. Dhawan
  3. V. Kohli (c)
  4. KM Jadhav
  5. R. Pant (wk)
  6. V. Shankar
  7. R. Jadeja
  8. Kuldeep Yadav
  9. B. Kumar
  10. M. Shami
  11. J. Bumrah

  1. A. Finch (c)
  2. U. Khawaja
  3. G. Maxwell
  4. P. Handscomb
  5. MP Stoinis
  6. A. Carey (wk)
  7. A. Turner
  8. P. Cummins
  9. J. Richardson
  10. NM Lyon
  11. A. Zampa

Players to watch out for:

  • Virat Kohli

Kohli is a man for the big occasions and he is surely one to watch out for in the final ODI.

  • Patt Cummins

Patt Cummins had a tremendous series with the ball, 5 wickets in the last ODI, and he will be hoping to replicate his fine form.

  • Usman Khawaja

Usman Khawaja has been in monstrous form up top and India would want to remove him early if they want to increase their chances of winning.
