Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has been dealt another blow as their premier all-rounder, Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 for two weeks due to injury. Earlier, the team had to start their campaign with another important member of their squad, Lungi Ngidi who suffered an injury in the Sri Lanka series.
After having started the IPL 12 with three consecutive wins, CSK suffered their first loss against Mumbai Indians. Dwayne Bravo was a key contributor to the wins, however, he will no longer be able to play for CSK for at for a couple of weeks at the very least. The injury comes as a shock as it would disturb the team combination. This might make way for Kiwi all-rounder, Scott Kuggeleijn who was drafted in as a late replacement for South African pacer, Ngidi.
Reports have confirmed that the all-rounder will sit out the next few games due to a hamstring injury.

Bravo’s changes of pace will be dearly missed by CSK during the time he’s on the bench. In the 4 matches he has played till now, the 35-year-old has taken 7 wickets, second only to Yuzvendra Chahal who tops the list with 8.
It remains to be seen who will replace him in the playing XI, however, CSK captain, MS Dhoni has a knack of picking up the right player for the right opponent.
