This year too, teams have picked up many fresh cricketers who hold immense potential and promise a bright future. It is yet to see who emerges as the star of the tournament but before that let’s take a look at our predictions of the best emerging players in PSL 2019.
Best Emerging Players of PSL 2019
1. Saud Shakeel
The 23 years old lad is part of Quetta Gladiators and has shown his mettle in the recent Emerging Asia Cup where he played a stylish knock of 62 runs against India. Although Pakistan lost the match Saud’s brilliant performance was reflective of the immense potential he holds. He has played 31 first-class matches and has successfully scored more than 2000 runs with his highest score being 121. That’s why he very well-deserves to be among the best emerging players of PSL 4.
2. Gauhar Ali
The 29 years old, right-handed wicketkeeper batsman, Gauhar Ali, will be representing Lahore Qalandars in the fourth edition of PSL. Gauhar was the leading run-scorer for Peshawar in the 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam One Day Cup, with 258 runs in seven matches. He has an unconventional approach and a unique batting style which makes him stand out. He has played more than 70 first-class matches and made over 2000 runs.
3. Danish Aziz

Many consider him the next Asif because of his ability to strike the ball hard. Although he made his debut in PSL for Karachi Kings he was unable to make a play in the final 11. He made his first-class debut on 12 December 2014 for Karachi Dolphins. In 2018, he scored an unbeaten knock of 86, in a strong partnership of 192 runs with Fawad Alam, to help Karachi Whites win the final against Islamabad and clinch the National One-day Regional Cup.
4. Awais Zia
A true power hitter, Awais is part of the Karachi Kings in PSL4 and is expected to play a blistering inning. Zia is famous for his huge sixes and clean fours; he has the ability to turn the match over in a matter of minutes. He has played 35 first-class and 19 list-A matches. He has also played 22 Twenty20 matches representing the Rawalpindi Rams. Rest assured, if Zia clicks in this season then nobody can stop Karachi Kings from making a clean sweep.
5. Nabi Gul
Although extremely new in the game, Nabi possesses the talent and skill to stun many. He is just 21 years old and has been selected by Peshawar Zalmi in the emerging category. He made his first-class debut for Peshawar in the Quaid e Azam Cup this year and represented Khyber Paktunkhawa in 2017 Pakistan Cup. Nabi has just played 5 first-class matches and scored 442 runs, his highest score remains 138.
